今天在暴风城的暴风要塞，从一个小女孩手里接到一封送往沙塔斯城奥多尔平台的信，那是一首写给暗夜精灵猎人凯莉·达克的诗，诗文如图。读完这首诗，我才想起当年在魔兽世界流传已久的故事，如今在游戏中亲历，别有一番感触： 故事是这样：Dak Krause是曾经活跃于魔兽世界的一名玩家，以其乐于助人的性格深受同服务器的伙伴欢迎，在2006年其确诊罹患白血病。当他明确地知道自己即将离开人世，同时自己喜欢的角色“凯莉达克”也将永远下线后，就为自己写了上面这首诗存放在自己WOW帐号的邮箱中。2007年8月，Dak Krause因为病情恶化离开人世，在其所在的服务器中其他玩家为他举办了数百人出席的盛大葬礼，也引得暴雪关注此事。随后暴雪将其WOW角色凯莉达克制作为一名任务NPC，并以一个名为“凯莉的诗”的任务引导其他玩家去与其见面。在WOW中上千万玩家阅读了Dak Krause的诗篇，凯莉达克也成为永不下线的角色。 于是我找来了这首诗的英文原版，是这样写的： Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.
